Christian Education
All ages are invited to participate in faith enrichment opportunities beyond the worship service. Our church is committed to promoting inclusion and equity based on the example of Jesus and lessons of the Bible. Our various CE classes and activities reflect this commitment.
A Commitment to Parents and Families
Our nursery is always open to babies and toddlers on Sunday mornings for the duration of the worship service and through Coffee, Tea & Conversation as well as the adult classes after worship . There, our youngest are free to engage in age-appropriate activities and explore friendship while under the watchful eyes of our experienced and attentive childcare providers. Rest assured that children of any age are also welcome to remain in the service in the care of their parents/guardians.
Children are typically invited to the front of the Meeting House early in worship services to listen to the Children’s Message. Following this, ages 3 through 5th grade are invited to walk with our Director of Family Ministries and a childcare worker to our to the CE Building for a faith formation lesson and fun and fresh air on the playground (weather permitting). We also host a summer Vacation Bible School, which is open to all families and their friends!
Following worship, young people in grades 6-12 are invited to the CE Building for “Teen Impact.” This is an opportunity for youth to meet one another, enjoy snacks, and play games. Our Director of Family Ministries engages the group in faith-oriented discussion as well. Every so often, they have an opportunity to join an off-campus field trip for fun, fellowship, and service.
After the worship service is a time for adults to focus on strengthening faith, friendships, and serving our community. All are invited to enjoy “Coffee, Tea, and Conversation” and then continue on to other activities. Our Christian Education board offers small groups and classes that discuss anything from current events to the tenets of our faith. Join us!
Learning Beyond the Classroom
The FCC spirit goes beyond our campus! You can often find our members volunteering at food banks and thrift stores, raising funds for projects close to our hearts (suicide awareness and blood cancer awareness, to name just a couple), and advocating for equality in our community (Pridefest, No Kings, etc.).

Following the worship service, our Christian Education board sponsors rotating classes on various topics. Taught by members of our congregation, recent classes have included Contemplative Christian Poetry and The Intersection of Theology and Music. There’s always something going on.
