Music at the Meeting House featuring Dorothy Gal

Hailed as “alluring” by the Houston Chronicle, Polish-American soprano Dorothy Gal is a Houston Grand Opera studio alumna and recipient of the prestigious Richard F. Gold Career Grant from the Shoshana Foundation.
She was recognized by the American Council for Polish Culture in 2023 and was the winner of the Kochańska Sembrich Vocal Competition as well as one of three winners of the Houston District’s Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.
A graduate of the Mannes School and Rice’s Shepherd School, she has performed with numerous opera companies, orchestras and at music festivals throughout the US including the Opera Theatre of St. Louis and both the Aspen and Ravinia festivals.
